What was the defining moment when you decided to pursue music as a career?
When I was 16 years old, I decided to become a DJ after my first rave.
What was a turning point in your career?
Going to law school to better help my music career and the music careers of those in the community.

Biography
Liam Shy is a DJ and Lawyer who has been teaching since 2009. He has performed at festivals around the world including Burning Man & Coachella, and practicing law since 2021. Liam is excited to combine the world of music, law, and business in his teachings to help students understand how to protect their rights and monetize their assets. The music industry is a challenging environment and Liam strives to demystify the stakeholders and hurdles so that students may experience an enriching and rewarding career.
